  • What is Moodle?

    • Moodle is a learning management tool (LMS), or more specifically Learning Content Management (LCMS), freely distributed and written in PHP and distributed under the GNU General Public License. Moodle is used for blended learning, flipped classroom and other online learning schemes in schools, universities, workplaces and other sectors. It can be used to create custom websites with online courses and allows for community-sourced plugins.

      • H5P is a free and open-source content collaboration framework based on JavaScript. H5P is an abbreviation for HTML5 Package, and aims to make it easy for everyone to create, share and reuse interactive HTML5 content.

        • 30+ content types. Get a glimpse of how H5P can enrich your website with interactive content.
        • H5P content is responsive and mobile-friendly, which means that users will experience the same rich, interactive content on computers, smartphones, and tablets alike.
        • Content created on tens of thousands of H5P sites may be uploaded to H5P.com. The content will work the same and also may be edited and translated the same way on all H5P enabled sites.

    • Adding a new user

      • Once a new user has registered on the platform:

        1. Get into the Pilot Area space.
        2. In the right side block, click on the relevant Pilot Areas' drop down menu, and then click on Participants.
        3. Click on the enroll button and search for the new user. Choose a role (student) and enroll. *note: If having any problem registering a user, do not hesitate to contact us.
